Glyn School from Epsom, England arrived in Mississauga on Friday night to take on the Blues U17 squad. After a long day in Niagara riding Jet Boats and eating Cotton Candy the Glyn boys prepared to renew the friendly rivalry between the familiar foes.
In the first-half the Blues took advantage of the tired English side. The hot sun and long days clearly effected the powerhouse from south London as the Blues scored on their first possession. The Kainoa Lloyd try was a glimpse into what was to follow. Superior running lines, ball-handling and defensive organization gave the Blues a commanding 35-5 lead at the half. Try scorers included Daniel Wright, Joey Difilippo, and David Phan. Josh Maharaj contributed with 7 conversions.
