The Blues Under-14 boys are amoung a number of teams at the club that started training recently.
The U14s train on Monday and Wednesday nights at Streetsville Secondary School at 7 pm. This years’ coaches, Mo Chaudhry and Sean Mederios, are excited about the coming season. “The U14s had a great season last year largely due to a strong increase in numbers. Kids in the community have decided to come and try and a new game and have loved it!” The Blues welcome all interested players to come to training and see if rugby is for them!
The Blues Senior Mens and Senior Womens sides will begin training on April 10th at Streetsville Secondary School at 7pm.
The Senior Men firsts and seconds will compete in the Toronto Rugby ‘A’ in 2012 and the thirds will play in the Toronto Rugby ‘C’. For more information contact Head Coach Mike Curran at michael.curran@peelsb.com or at 416 574 0802.

The Mississauga Blues RFC welcome all returning and potential Senior Men and Senior Women players to the 2012 Season Planning session on February 23rd at Streetsville Secondary School. Sessions will start at 7pm and finish with a meet & greet at the Franklin afterwards.
The goal of the meeting is to set performance goals for the two programs, discuss schedules, plan socials and much more. 2012 is the 5th season of Blues rugby and the coaches are planning for huge success on and off the pitch.
The Mississauga Blues RFC Senior Men are touring the United Kingdom in August 2012. The club is holding a Poker Night Fundraiser for the group on Saturday February 25th 2012 at the Streetsville Kinsmen Hall, 327 Queen St. South.
Tickets are $50 and include dinner and a 4000 chip buy-in. There is a cash bar at the event and plenty of door prizes. All attendees must be 19 and older. The night begins at 6pm with a Poker tutorial for inexperienced players. The event is run by Main Street Poker Entertainment.
